𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 was one of my largest projects and proudest to date. Drive down Ocean Blvd day or night you can’t help, but notice 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. The distinct flat-top architecture is classic Frank Stick and a nod to the Outer Banks homes of Southern Shores in the 1940s. I put our own spin on the flat-top design incorporating real cypress soffits with mini cans for low key drapery lighting effect, hardi panels and board with thin batten in dark gray, and a subtle tone lighter for high contrast with roof.
Besides the flat top roof, the show stopper is the living space. The dramatic and cozy 12 seater sectional in mustard yellow velvet, the large hex floor, and dark industrial style light fixtures make this space off-the-charts COOL.
